“SET Africa” for short, is a program that aims to provide young social innovators across Africa with the organizational leadership skills, mentoring, networks, and funding opportunities needed to strengthen and scale up their social ventures. Based in Kampala, Uganda, they will open up their program annually to 25 young leaders, ages 18 to 29, who have founded or co-founded a venture that addresses a social challenge in their communities. They are not the first of the kind. Heaps of similar organizations exists, such as SEA Africa, SENA, ASEN and much more. They all deserve attention. Will be interesting to follow all these programs!
